AlixaRx offers pharmacy and technology support to resolve any issues that may arise – day or night.

Dedicated AlixaRx customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions and resolve issues. Pharmacists are available to approve prescriptions and address medication-related concerns any time of the day or night. Medications in the on-site dispensing system, including controlled substances, can be retrieved immediately following pharmacist authorization and approval.  If a medication is not available on-site, AlixaRx will have it delivered from the closest local backup pharmacy to ensure medication timeliness and availability.

AlixaRx provides 24/7 live technical phone support for questions or issues related to the on-site dispensing system. Our support technicians monitor the systems and can remotely access the software and video camera in the room to help troubleshoot issues. A local pharmacy service technician is always on-call and can be dispatched to the facility when issues arise that cannot be resolved remotely. Regardless of the day or time, AlixaRx ensures the needs of the facility and its patients are met.

AlixaRx performs weekly preventative maintenance of the on-site dispensing system, which includes an inspection of the system components, light maintenance, and cleaning of all medicine pathways. On a bi-annual basis, AlixaRx performs a more thorough preventative maintenance, performing an overall inspection, replacing any components showing signs of wear, and validating internal machine communication, door locks, drawer and canister bases, printing, sealing and cutting, and sensors. Software upgrades are performed on a routine and as needed basis. Robust disaster recovery protocols assure AlixaRx customers will not miss a med pass.
